Alessi Pulcina Black Edition Moka Pot

Presented in 2015, the Pulcina stove top coffee maker immediately won over the public. In the Black Edition version, the light plays with the stepped shape designed by Michele De Lucchi, enhancing its originality.

The internal design of Pulcina’s boiler contains an innovation, designed in collaboration with Illy’s research and development laboratories – it is possible to interrupt the extraction of coffee at the right moment and eliminate the final phase that can generate a burnt, bitter aftertaste.

Pulcina’s spout is well pronounced and the V-shape, reminiscent of a chick’s beak, is designed to perfectly cut off the flow when pouring coffee without drips.

Functional – An excellent coffee is assured as the body is made of aluminium, a material that gives the espresso a round and full-bodied taste.

Easy to clean – Wash with hot running water and a non-abrasive cloth. Do not wash in the dishwasher.

Easy to maintain – Periodically clean the upper micro-filter; if damaged, replace the handle, knob, funnel filter, upper micro-filter and silicone rubber gasket.
